CareHaven is a privacy-first iOS app that carries the mental load for people caring for someone with complex needs — autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, dementia, and more. It keeps medications, appointments, patterns, and caregiver handoffs in one calm place, with all care data stored encrypted on the device — no account, no ads, no data resale. Built by a Birmingham founder and security professional for his own family. Free beta at getcarehaven.app/beta.
High-resolution PNGs, free for editorial use. Click any image to download the full-size file.
Shawn Sharp is a Birmingham-based security professional and University of Alabama at Birmingham graduate (BS and MBA). After his own family spent years coordinating complex care for their son — the medications, the specialists, the appointments, and the constant work of remembering it all — he couldn't find a tool that fit. So he built one. His background in security shaped CareHaven's defining choice: every piece of care data stays encrypted on the device, with no account and no servers to breach. CareHaven is the app he wishes his family had from the start.
The beta is open — the fastest way to understand CareHaven is to use it.
